SHADES OF 2008

Voter intimidation, fraud, violence, weapons at polling places, the long dead still voting, misplaced ballots, people voting multiple times...........  OK, I know what your thinking but, you are wrong, it's not the USA this time but, Egypt.
With Mubarak gone, a "free election" is being held in Egypt for the first time.  Wink-wink, nod-nod, FREE ELECTION you say.  How can that be?   The choice between a former Mubarak crony or an Islamist isn't exactly shaping up as the kind of democratic election everyone was hoping for.  Yea it may include voting but, if you think people voting automatically equates to a democratic election, then you are mistaken.
Evidently, you haven't learned your lessons from the election of 2008.  The claims listed above are the same exact ones we keep hearing about our own elections, most recently, that one .  And much like the Egyptian people we were forced to chose between a terrible choice or a lousy one.  Not much to get excited about when your best options were McCain or Obama.  Like the Egyptians, many of us voted for the lesser of two evils.  We voted, not for a guy to win, we voted for another guy not to win.  Doesn't seem like a good system, now does it?
If this is the type of democracy or system of government we want to impose on the rest of the world when we say we are fighting wars to "Spread Democracy and Freedom" maybe those folks would be better off without our interference?

BARACK OBAMA: FROM BAD TO WORSE............TO WORSER

Are there any more possible ways to demonstrate to any sane person how pathetic and out of touch this president is, than what we heard yesterday right from the horses mouth?   When Obama shocked most many Americans by saying that the private sector was fine, he really went over the top.  This idiotic statement from a man many profess to be the second coming,  a Harvard graduate, a former U.S. Senator, sadly brings to light what a pitiful, horrible excuse for a president we have.  I'm at a loss to understand how he can even get one vote let alone millions.   It just shows how many stupid, gullible and misinformed people there are running around in the country.
The list of this guy's gaffes is growing exponentially and his continuing demonstrations of poor judgement and leadership are now such a common occurrence as to be barely noticed.  In fact they are expected.  In other words, his errors are so common so as to appear normal.
One can only hope that November will bring about the change we truly need and that is the removal from office of Mr. Soetoro and his cronies before their corruption and ineptness destroy what is left of this country.
It appears our options are to go with Mitt Romney who may or may not be the best candidate or re-elect this guy who is so in over his head it isn't even funny.  Personally, I'm for Romney mainly because he's NOT Obama.
Trust me, I understand there are really lousy politicians from all sides of the aisle but, for a President of the USA to be this bad......... well that is, pretty noticeable.

I'm enclosing a link to an article on sodahead.com.  I'm just putting it out there for discussion and not necessarily because I believe it is all the gospel.  Makes you think for sure though.

PALADIN NEEDS WORK TOO

Needs Work
In ObamAmerica even yours truly, the righteous and mighty Paladin is woefully under-employed/ unemployed.  I can tell you from first hand experience that even Guns for Hire, like myself can't find work in this economy.  Not much of a market for gunslingers out there in ObamAmerica.  I can't remember the last time I gave out one of my fancy business cards with the chess knight on it.  Yes, this despite my long and impressive resume of saving beautiful women, stopping train robberies and generally, just taking out the bad guys.  How's a gunslinger supposed to get by in this economy?  I know one thing, I can't survive on my reputation much longer.
I went into Dodge a few week back and found that Marshall Dillon was having a similar problem, seeing his hours cut and having to pay a higher percentage of his medical insurance.  Things have got to change around here pretty soon or I'll have to be filing for some unemployment benefits come July 1st.
